As Chief Investment Officer, Alex oversees the firm’s private credit investment strategies and leads both portfolio management and investment underwriting across all private credit investment vehicles. Alex is a member of the firm’s Credit Committee.

With over a decade of experience in private credit and investment management, Alex brings deep institutional expertise to Cortland’s investment platform. He is a CFA Charterholder and a graduate of the BBA (Finance) program at Wilfrid Laurier University. Prior to joining Cortland, he held roles at Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management and Caldwell Investment Management.
