he is responsible for originating and structuring new asset-based lending opportunities across the U.S. market. Based just outside Philadelphia, PA, Brandon plays a critical role in advancing Cortland’s U.S. expansion strategy by developing a portfolio of new borrower relationships and cultivating strategic referral networks. His mandate is focused on driving growth and profitability through disciplined credit execution and market coverage, particularly in the mid-market segment.
Brandon brings extensive experience in private lending, most recently serving as Director of Business Development at First National Bank of Pennsylvania, where he led origination efforts for the ABL group across the Mid-Atlantic region. He has a strong track record of sourcing, underwriting, and negotiating both direct and syndicated transactions, including those related to acquisitions, recapitalizations, leveraged buyouts, and corporate growth initiatives. Earlier in his career, he held credit and business development roles at Fulton Bank and PNC Bank, and began his career as a field examiner—giving him a practical, hands-on perspective on collateral risk and borrower operations.
